TanStack + Prisma Partnership

Prisma is joining us as a partner, and we already have something practical to work on together: making it easier to start a TanStack app with a Postgres database.

Prisma Postgres takes the provisioning and infrastructure setup off your plate. You still own the important application decisions, your schema, your queries, and what the product does with its data, but getting a database running doesn't have to become a project of its own.

That was also the focus of our first conversations. Alongside the sponsorship, our teams started working on Prisma as a database option in the TanStack CLI. A starter is much more useful when it can get you to a working application with persistence, instead of leaving you to assemble that part afterward.
